Whilst chaos unfurls back in London, there is something refreshing about deleting our BBC news app and ignoring what’s happening. However, our trip through Shengen was a humbling reminder of the greater community that we are still (for now) part of. A tiny white buoy in the river marks the boundary between Luxembourg, France and Germany.
