To pass the time whilst we are on the bike, we often chat about what we’d eat if we could have anything. Yorkshire Puddings, sourdough pizza, apple crumble… We usually throw in a Pina Colada into the imaginary menu, even though neither of us have ever tried one. Having successfully survived the first half of Ethiopia, we thought it was time to have that Pina Colada and celebrate!
Addis Ababa was a surprisingly fun and calm city compared to what we had expected. A good chance to recuperate and get ready for the next stage of our journey. We were incredibly luckily to be hosted by Giulia, who treated us to delicious Italian food, and gave us our first hot shower since Khartoum. Thank you!
