Novi Sad: Despite Serbia not being in the EU, it’s the European Youth Capital 2019 and European Capital of Culture for 2021. Definitely our favourite city so far, this vibrant place is a little rough around the edges, but that all adds to its charm.
Our eyes were a little larger than our belly with the 1.2kg feast for €5.
There was no early bedtime for us, as right outside our hostel was a huge concert featuring traditional dancing and some interesting electro pop music. We had no idea what was going on, but could only deduce that they must we auditioning for Serbia’s star act in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest.
