‘Avon Skin So Soft’ – we think this might be a Scottish joke to rip naive tourists off in the pharmacy, when it in actual fact it attracts midges. Hopefully the English border will be a barrier to midges coming further south! To top of the midge bites, there’s nothing like taking your socks off after five days to find four ticks making themselves at home between your toes!
