Cape Wrath – no better way to improve your handling skills! Malcolm the ferry man managed to get us over just in time before low tide, and we then spent 3 hours cycling (and pushing) our bikes & kit along the 11 mile dirt track. When we finally reached Cape Wrath we were shocked to find a 24 hour cafe run by a couple who live at this rural tip of the UK all year, looking after the lighthouse. A group of friendly hikers gave us a send off as we officially started our Cape to Cape journey.
All the very best James and Lucy!!!

Had a great night there thanks Lucy..
Clean new bunk house and walking through the now redundant engine room of the old lighthouse to get in and out, full of character.!
Also enjoyed reading all the info boards in the Ozone cafe
